New parents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will soon be packing their bags.

The Duke and Duchess, who welcomed son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in early May, will visit Africa in the coming months, according to ITV (via People). Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, are set to travel to South Africa, Angola and Malawi.

Harry’s mother, the late Princess Diana, spent time in Africa doing charity work, and her younger son continues to honor her legacy.

“Harry has made no secret of what an influence his mother has been on him,” a royal insider told the UK’s Express, adding, “His trip to Africa comes at a time in his life where he has become a parent himself.”

Shortly before her death in August 1997, Diana walked through an active minefield while visiting Angola. The fields were being cleared by the HALO Trust, which originated in 1988 “in response to the global humanitarian catastrophe caused by landmines,” according to the organization’s website. Harry followed in Diana’s footsteps in 2013.

Meghan and Harry are also expected for focus on his charity, Sentebale, during their stay in Malawi.

Previous reports indicated the royals’ visit to Africa could take place this fall. It remains to be seen if Archie will make the journey.

Meghan she is easing her way back on the royal scene since giving birth. Last weekend, she made her first public appearance since introducing her son to the world, partaking in the Trooping the Colour celebrations.
